Compte rendu – Suivi des réparations MG4 Xpower
Contexte initial :
Mon véhicule MG4 Xpower a fait l’objet d’une réparation, concernant un problème de vibration et de résonance sonore, avec le remplacement des trois supports du moteur électrique avant. Cette intervention avait déjà permis une nette amélioration du confort de conduite sans totalement supprimer le défaut.
Nouvelle intervention :
Suite à ma demande, la concession MG m’a contacté pour m’informer de l’application de la deuxième partie de l’évolution technique sous garantie, consistant a remplacer le berceau arrière (support du moteur électrique arrière) et complété d’une géométrie des trains roulants au vu des pièces démontées.
Cette opération a été réalisée les 15 et 16 avril 2025.
Constats après intervention :
• Amélioration générale supplémentaire constatée, renforçant l’expérience de conduite.
• Quasi disparition de la résonance sonore et des vibrations sur route comme sur autoroute.
• Un léger résiduel de vibrations persiste ponctuellement autour de 95 km/h et 110 km/h, mais ces vibrations sont très faibles et non permanentes (elles apparaissent puis disparaissent).
• Le niveau de gêne est insignifiant et n’altère pas le plaisir de conduite.
• Après plusieurs kilomètres de roulage (mise en température des pièces en mouvement, notamment les transmissions), le phénomène tend encore à diminuer, offrant un ressenti encore plus positif.
Concernant la géométrie, je n’ai constaté aucune anomalie sur le comportement du véhicule en dynamique.
Conclusion :
Suite à cette évolution technique, l’expérience de conduite a été grandement améliorée, apportant un confort de roulage très satisfaisant et une réduction significative des phénomènes vibratoires et sonores initialement constatés, même s’il subsiste une légère persistance de la vibration.
Dans l’éventualité où l’assistance technique MG proposerait de nouvelles évolutions techniques permettant de supprimer définitivement ces résidus vibratoires, je souhaite qu’elle puissent être appliquées à mon véhicule.

My MG4 Xpower vehicle underwent repairs for a vibration and resonance noise issue, replacing the three front electric motor mounts. This repair had already resulted in a significant improvement in driving comfort without completely eliminating the defect.
New repair:
Following my request, the MG dealership contacted me to inform me of the application of the second part of the technical upgrade under warranty, consisting of replacing the rear subframe (rear electric motor mount) and completing a wheel alignment based on the removed parts.
This repair was performed on April 15 and 16, 2025.
Findings after the repair:
• Additional general improvement noted, enhancing the driving experience.
• Virtually no more resonance noise and vibrations on both roads and highways.
• A slight residual vibration persists occasionally around 95 km/h and 110 km/h, but these vibrations are very slight and not permanent (they appear and then disappear).
• The level of discomfort is insignificant and does not affect driving pleasure.
• After several kilometers of driving (warming up the moving parts, particularly the transmissions), the phenomenon tends to diminish further, providing an even more positive experience.
Regarding the geometry, I have not noticed any anomalies in the vehicle's dynamic behavior.
Conclusion:
Following this technical development, the driving experience has been greatly improved, providing very satisfactory ride comfort and a significant reduction in the vibration and noise phenomena initially noted, although there is still a slight persistence of vibration.
In the event that MG Technical Assistance proposes new technical developments to permanently eliminate these residual vibrations, I hope they can be applied to my vehicle.

An meinem MG4 Xpower-Fahrzeug wurde aufgrund eines Vibrations- und Schallresonanzproblems eine Reparatur durchgeführt, bei der die drei vorderen Elektromotorhalterungen ausgetauscht wurden. Durch diesen Eingriff konnte bereits eine deutliche Verbesserung des Fahrkomforts erzielt werden, ohne dass der Mangel vollständig behoben wurde.
Neue Intervention:
Auf meine Anfrage hin kontaktierte mich das MG-Autohaus, um mich über die Anwendung des zweiten Teils der technischen Entwicklung im Rahmen der Garantie zu informieren, der aus dem Austausch des hinteren Hilfsrahmens (Stütze des hinteren Elektromotors) besteht und durch eine Geometrie des Fahrwerks im Hinblick auf die entfernten Teile ergänzt wird.
Diese Operation wurde am 15. und 16. April 2025 durchgeführt.
Befunde nach der Intervention:
• Zusätzliche allgemeine Verbesserungen festgestellt, die das Fahrerlebnis verbessern.
• Praktisch keine Schallresonanz oder Vibrationen auf der Straße oder Autobahn.
• Bei etwa 95 km/h und 110 km/h bleibt gelegentlich eine leichte Restvibration bestehen, diese Vibrationen sind jedoch sehr schwach und nicht dauerhaft (sie treten auf und verschwinden dann).
• Der Grad der Unannehmlichkeit ist unbedeutend und beeinträchtigt den Fahrspaß nicht.
• Nach mehreren Kilometern Fahrt (Aufwärmen der beweglichen Teile, insbesondere der Getriebe) lässt das Phänomen tendenziell weiter nach und vermittelt ein noch positiveres Gefühl.
Bezüglich der Geometrie sind mir keine Auffälligkeiten im dynamischen Verhalten des Fahrzeugs aufgefallen.
Abschluss :
Durch diese technische Entwicklung wurde das Fahrerlebnis deutlich verbessert, der Fahrkomfort ist sehr zufriedenstellend und die anfänglich beobachteten Vibrations- und Geräuschphänomene wurden deutlich reduziert, auch wenn weiterhin leichte Vibrationen vorhanden sind.
Sollte der technische Kundendienst von MG neue technische Entwicklungen vorschlagen, mit denen diese Vibrationsrückstände dauerhaft beseitigt werden können, möchte ich, dass sie diese in meinem Fahrzeug umsetzen können.
