The new version was installed yesterday afternoon. To be on the safe side, I uninstalled the old version first and then installed the new test version.

I’ve only taken four trips so far, but it’s worked every time.

Hello, I tried to reproduce the issue on my MG4 (which is also running SWI133) and I didn't encounter any problems.

Whether it’s applying the profile at startup, when the car switches to “READY” mode, or by applying the profile manually.

I had already set up delays for alert execution, but it seems the hardware might differ from one version to another, and perhaps the delays I applied work for mine but not for others.

So I’ve changed how it works: in addition to waiting for a specific delay, MG4Control applies the setting and checks to see if it’s been applied correctly. If it’s not OK, it loops until it is, then moves on to the rest of the settings to be applied (3 times max).

Is anyone interested in testing a beta version?

Please note that it also includes other changes, like the speed limiter with auto and manual modes, which overrides previously configured profiles (you’ll need to edit them to reselect the desired ADAS feature for each profile).

So the issue only occurs in firmware versions that use two types of alerts (speed limit and speed limit changes) and only when the car is started (there’s no problem when the profile is applied manually).

Gelegentlich fahre ich los und die Geschwindigkeitserkennung ist aktiv.

Das überschreiben der Werte durch "longpress" der Sterntaste funktioniert dann sofort.

It seems that your Software, on the MG4 24 Modell, sometimes the values not overwrites.

As ARMPAS wrote, it could be a timing problem on the 24er Model.

Overwrite with the longpress star button works then fine.

Hallo zusammen, ich bin der Entwickler von MG4Control und bin zufällig auf das Forum gestoßen, als ich mir im Internet angesehen habe, was über die App gesagt wird.

Entschuldigt bitte schon mal, dass ich einen Übersetzer benutze, da ich kein Deutsch spreche.

Ich habe gesehen, dass ARMPAS gefragt hat, wie das Popup-System für die Profile funktioniert.

Ich glaube, es gab eine Verwirrung bei der Übersetzung vom Englischen ins Deutsche, daher hier eine Zusammenfassung der Funktion:

Es handelt sich um eine Verknüpfung, die einer der Stern-Tasten am Lenkrad zugewiesen ist.

Damit lässt sich ein Popup mit der Liste der in MG4Control erstellten Profile aufrufen.

Das ist praktisch, wenn der Benutzer schnell von einem Profil zum anderen wechseln möchte, und löst das Problem der begrenzten Anzahl von Shortcuts am Lenkrad.

Ich hoffe, meine Antwort ist verständlich genug, und wünsche euch einen schönen Tag
