It seems that your Software, on the MG4 24 Modell, sometimes the values not overwrites.

As ARMPAS wrote, it could be a timing problem on the 24er Model.

Overwrite with the longpress star button works then fine.

Is the issue that the profile is applying correctly, but one of the two audio alerts isn't working (Speed Limit Alert: Not Working / Speed Limit Change Alert: Working) ?

I think, its not only the speed limit alert. The MY24 starts sometimes with the default values from MG4 (Driving Mode "Standard", Recuperation "High", and so on.

My MG4 Control Values are "Eco Mode", "Recuperation normal", "Speed Limit Alert off"

When i start a drive, i don't notice that the car is in eco or standard mode, but when the trafic control warns, i know that your App has not overwritten the

MG4 Standard values.

I'm not 100% sure, but i would say, sometimes my MG4 starts with all MG4 standard values (and "longpress star button" loads then the "desired" values)

I will check and report.

I think ARMPAS will answer here too.

A user has written here, that the 2.5 version of MG4 control has worked correctly and a later version (2.52?) had this Bug.

I don't know whitch version i have installed first, 2.5 or 2.52. Last week i test the update button an it seems to work.

Maybe i better reinstall the app and install the version 2.6?

Es scheint einfach manchmal (nicht immer) das Profil (das auch die Glocke abschaltet) beim Starten nicht auszuführen.

Starte ich das Profil dann selbst, klappt es immer.

Deswegen meine Vermutung, dass ev das Profil gesetzt wird, bevor das Auto das eigene schreibt. Deswegen eine einstellbare Zeitverzögerung (10 bis 120 Sekunden zum Beispiel) ablaufen lassen, bevor das Profil gesetzt wird?!

Yes, this issue is known.

It doesn’t seem to happen all the time and (presumably) only occurs with the SWI133 MG4 Lux. Sometimes it can also be simulated manually. I’ve seen the second switch for the Over-Speed-Alert reset itself.

SliDeeN: That’s the same bug I’ve tried to reliably reproduce before. I suspect a small delay might help.

So the issue only occurs in firmware versions that use two types of alerts (speed limit and speed limit changes) and only when the car is started (there’s no problem when the profile is applied manually).

Ich habe zwar die Software nicht installiert. Das Problem scheint mir aber bei MG zu liegen.

Bei meinem Luxury ist die Software des Multimediasystems eine richtige Wundertüte. Nach dem Start spielt manchmal das Radio, machmal nicht, manchmal ist die Klimaanlage funktionsfähig, manchmal nicht. Manchmal wird das Radio leiser, wenn man die Fahrtrichtung rückwärts wählt, manchmal nicht, manchmal wird das Radio wieder lauter wenn man dann wieder vorwärts fährt, manchmal nicht, manchmal wird beim Laden der Zähler „seit letzter Ladung“ gelöscht, manchmal nicht usw. usw.

You are on the last version ? v2.6.0 ?

I installed the latest version, v2.6.0.

This only affects the overspeed alarm switch. The speed-limit-change alarm is always set correctly and remains correct.

I’ve already noticed that the overspeed alarm resets after the MG4-Control app sets the profile correctly. But whenever I try to record a video, it works correctly, of course.

I suspect this has something to do with CPU load. Depending on how quickly it finishes the boot process, the switch is set correctly or not.

Hence my assumption that even a small delay of, say, 0.1 seconds would be enough.
